Report: UFC's Dana White will give last speech before Trump accepts GOP nomination

As he has twice before, UFC CEO Dana White will address the Republican National Convention when it meets next week in Milwaukee. However, White's place on the program has been elevated this year.
According to the Wall Street Journal, White will have the distinction of making the final speech before Donald Trump officially accepts the party's nomination on Thursday night.
White and Trump have been tag-team partners of sorts for years, with White attending and speaking at the 2016 Republican convention in Cleveland on Trump's behalf, and giving a prerecorded speech on the final night of the scaled-down 2020 convention.
Despite Trump's conviction on 34 felony counts by a New York jury earlier this year, White has been even more active in his support for the former president this election season.
He has invited Trump as a special guest to four premium UFC events over the past year: Trump attended UFC 290 in Las Vegas last July, UFC 295 in New York’s Madison Square Garden last November, UFC 299 in Miami in March and UFC 302 in Newark, New Jersey on June 1, just days after his criminal conviction.
